Stairway Games is looking for a skilled Multiplayer Programmer to help bridge the gap between players in our upcoming projects. If you have a deep understanding of networking and a passion for high-quality game development, we want to hear from you.
The Role
In this position, you will be the architect of our online experience. You’ll be responsible for:
- Engineering Connections: Developing and implementing robust multiplayer features within Unreal Engine 4 & 5 using C++.
- System Overhauls: Refactoring existing game code to transition single-player systems into seamless multiplayer environments.
- Integration: Linking our systems with third-party authentication and backend services to ensure a secure, stable player experience.

- Technical Foundation: A strong grasp of Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and core Networking concepts.
- Communication: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with a global team.

Bonus Points For:
- A degree in Computer Science or Game Development.
- Experience with a shipped title.
- Prior professional experience: 2+ years in Unity or 1+ year in Unreal Engine.
