GATE Photo Instruction
- Upload a good quality latest passport size color photograph with white background.
- Face should occupy at least 75% of the photograph.
Thumb Impression Instruction
- Draw a rectangular box of 3 cm × 5 cm on A4 paper.
- Place your left thumb impression inside the box.
Signature Instruction
- Draw a rectangular box of 2 cm × 7 cm on A4 size paper.
- Sign inside the box using black or blue pen in running handwriting.
How to Fill IIT GATE 2026 Online Form
- IIT Guwahati invited online applications for GATE 2026.
- Candidates could apply between 25 August 2025 to 09 October 2025.
- Read the official notification before applying.
- Prepare required documents such as eligibility proof, ID proof and address details.
- Upload scanned documents including photo, signature, ID proof and thumb impression.
- Check the application preview carefully before final submission.
- Take a printout of the final submitted application form.
