🎯 Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit

  • Date of Birth: Candidates must be born between July 2, 2005, and January 2, 2009 (both dates inclusive).
  • Upper Age Limit: Maximum 21 years as of the date of enrollment.

2. Marital Status

  • Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
  • Candidates must undertake not to marry during the four-year engagement period; marriage during engagement will lead to discharge.

3. Educational Qualification

For Science Subjects (Any One):

  • 10+2/Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate and 50% in EnglishOR
  • 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/IT) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English in Diploma or in 10+2/Matric, OR
  • 2-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Mathematics with 50% aggregate and 50% in English in Vocational or in 10+2/Matric.

For Other Than Science Subjects (Any One):

  • 10+2/Intermediate in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in EnglishOR
  • 2-year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English in Vocational or in 10+2/Matric.

4. Sports Achievements

Candidates must have represented in any of the following:

  • India in Junior/Senior International competitions recognized by IOC/IOA in notified disciplines, OR
  • Minimum 5th place in Junior Nationals, Senior Nationals, All India Inter University, or Khelo India Nationals in listed sports, OR
  • Represented State/UT in National/All India Inter University/Khelo India in team events.

Special Conditions Apply for:

  • Cricket (BCCI trophies)
  • Shooting (NSCC rankings)
  • Chess (FIDE rating ≥ 2150)

5. Medical & Physical Standards

  • Minimum Height: 152 cm
  • Chest: 77 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
    • 1.6 km run in 7 minutes
    • 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 20 squats within the prescribed time.
  • Visual Standard: 6/12 in each eye, correctable to 6/6, with specified refractive limits.
